We are Westlake High School's Advanced Vertical Robotics (AVR) Team based in Austin, Texas. At Westlake Robotics, we design, build, and program competitive robots, engage with our community through STEM outreach efforts, and leave a lasting global impact through many of our initiatives.
Who We Are
What is AVR?
AVR (Advanced Virtual Robotics) is a student-led competitive robotics team at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. We compete in robotics competitions with drones and driver-controlled ground vehicles at regional, state, and national levels. Our team of engineers, programmers, and designers build cutting-edge robots that push the boundaries of what high school robotics can achieve.
